I am an Edgar main and very skilled with him, here is my build for showdown
Let's Fly
Edgar's Super charges faster, 525% for 4 seconds.
Hard Landing
Edgar's Super will also deal 1350 damage to nearby enemies upon landing.
Speed
Gain 15% Speed increase when moving in bushes.
Super Charge
Super charges 10% faster.
Guide
Edgar is a mid brawler if you don't know how to use him, pro players and YouTubers often rank him F or D tier. But let me tell you, if you are good with Edgar, he is an amazing brawler.
At the start of the match no matter what your playing, activate his Let's Fly gadget so his super gets charged in approxamietly 4.78 seconds. If you are 100% sure that the opponent closest to you has no abilitys that can push you back or really quickly run away, don't use your super on them. By the way, don't fistfight an El Primo if you are both full health, El Primo will charge his super and obliterate you. If there is a box in some sort of showdown, get it, Edgar takes out an 8000 health box or below in 1.75 seconds.
